There’s been a lack of photos, but I can assure you that I’ve been taking many pictures. I just can’t upload them because they’re mostly of children in the preschool classroom I work for, and they don’t have public photo permissions.
But since it’s spring break, I’m determined to bring my camera everywhere! Hopefully I’ll get some good shots wandering around Philly, and in Chinatown during my dad’s, aunt’s and uncle’s triple-birthday celebration. I’m still looking for a diverse range of models to practice portraiture! So far I’ve been shooting my boyfriend, little children, and myself. Not very diverse. Haha.
It’s been ages since I’ve made a mundane text post. I’ll leave it at that. Time to nom on some authentic homemade dumplings!

Breaking J.K. Rowling News of the Day: News from the industry vine this morning is that J.K. Rowling has officially signed a book deal with Little, Brown, and will soon be releasing her highly anticipated Harry Potter follow up.
No word yet on title, plot, or publication date, but word is that the book’s target audience will be adults.
“Although I’ve enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series,” said the author in a press release.
The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry’s success has brought me, and with that new territory it seemed a logical progression to have a new publisher. I am delighted to have a second publishing home in Little, Brown, and a publishing team that will be a great partner in this new phase of my writing life.
